About the event

This webinar will explore the use of technology in monitoring and detection for patients at risk of catastrophic deterioration.

We are hosting a panel of international experts that will bring their diverse views on state-of-the-art developments to this quick fire event.

Arthur Bouwman (Eindhoven, NL) will present data on a wearable continuous monitoring device and Jelmer Alma and Jason Duijn (Rotterdam, NL) will present their concept of DIY monitoring solutions for patients in and out of hospital.

Much has been made of the use of machine learning and artificial intelligence in deterioration detection. Dana Edelson (Chicago, US) is a leader in this field. She and others (speaker tbc) tend to base their algorithms around vital signs and laboratory data.
